Not much snow here but tons of snow days and delays. Great for the kids - havoc for working parents. No one comes out anymore even if a rumor of snow starts to circulate.

I, for one, am so glad to see the back of February!

Ely, we're due for more snow showers this week. We seem to get the same storm systems. My boss told me on Friday this is the first time we've worked a 5-day week in ages. No wonder we were wiped out!

Hi, Beverley! Great that you're working on the third, and smart too. Trilogies are "in." 70 degrees, huh. I think I hate you. And Keira, too, for good weather. JK. You guys obviously know where to live!

Marnee, my husband's the grouchy one. He had to sweep off the cars this morning and shovel out a path...he's getting mighty sick of that.

I have to say I haven't been as productive as I would like to be. Perhaps that has to do with the fact that my son is coming home now at 2:30 instead of 5:30. I've started the last book of my 3 book series and am still revising the 2nd. I'm hoping to have the 2nd completely polished by the end of March (or sooner).
I must say the weather down here is good. Today it was 70. I'm saying hello to spring, and I'm ready for it.

Maggie, you go tell your Robert Byrne that a cold, stiff will do the trick.

I'm not going to write about our Seattle February weather, because you all will get a deep urge to rush over her to brain me.

Yep, it has been that good. :)

We got loaded with snow, too. Grrr. Hate it, especially when it comes on a weekend. I so would have had a snow day today. But I get paid for them, so it makes them that much nicer. LOL

I'm becoming a hermit, too... it's a good thing I work or I'd become like J.D. Salinger or something.

Tiff, I'm becoming a bit of a hermit, too. I'm lucky I can send my husband out for provisions while I stay in my jammies writing. We save $ that way too. I am known to go to the store for one thing and come back with 20.

Gillian, I think we've had 22 snowstorms this year so far, 6 snow days and I can't remember how many delayed openings to school. Vermont is probably even worse. It was so icy on my driveway a month or so ago I actually couldn't get out---I slid backwards and expected to wind up in the woods! And we had a major ice storm some years back---power was out for weeks in some places. Please, not again.

Terri, most towns here have public sand/salt piles, but they're barring the public now because there's such a shortage. Isn't it fun to bitch about the weather? Maybe those English people were on to something.

I know your winter has been unreal; Hubby calls from Vermont every day with another flippin' weather report...

Our winter has been dreadful, but it's the ice that's wiped out everyone here this year. No snow, but four major ice storms. The clean up from the fallen trees and limbs will take until this summer. Our towns looked like a war zone for over a month.

And the one week it got warm--two stinkin' tornadoes blew through. In April we can handle it, but February?

It had better be one beautiful summer.....

The town my parents live in back in Ohio actually closed the roads one day last week because they just ran out of salt. They had to *borrow* some from the next town over. LOL! I'd sure hate to see what it looked like when they gave it back.

I don't miss snow AT ALL.
