I have struggled to finish it, Terri and Kris. It's very, very clever in spots, and the language is so completely Austenish, that's a remarkable feat in itself. But I too think Jane Austen is extremely pissed off what with all the springboards she's provided for others to make money off her. I usually don't read Austen offshoots for this very reason, but the premise of this was too weird to resist.I figure I can donate it to my h.s. library---it may be the closest some kids ever get to Jane, LOL.

I don't think I'll ever be able to read this book. There's just something about it that says sacrilege to me lol -- also, like Tiff, I really hate zombies

I've heard from several people this book is hysterical. I'll take their word for it.

Did you know there's one coming out in which Mr. Darcy is a vampire?! Really. It's called Mr. Darcy, Vampyre.

The "y" makes all the difference. Yay for 80K!!!
